Liverpool are close to completing a season-long loan deal for Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo, with an option to buy. The move comes as Liverpool look to strengthen their back line following Ibrahima Konate’s departure to Real Madrid.
Ronald Araujo is 27 years old and plays as a centre-back. He has helped Barcelona win La Liga in three of the past four seasons and ended last season as club captain.
