Atalanta have agreed terms to sign winger Jonathan Rowe from Serie A rivals Bologna in a deal worth up to €40m. The agreement is structured as an initial €5m loan fee accompanied by a mandatory €30m purchase clause and €5m in performance add-ons.
Operating primarily out wide, Rowe established himself as a direct attacking threat during his spell in Bologna. His role as a natural winger gives his side width and direct progression along the touchline.
