Six-Month Absence Ends as Ibrahimovic Watches Milan Preparation for Benfica
RedBird advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic observed AC Milan training at Milanello on Sept. 14, marking his first appearance at the facility in over six months. The visit follows a reduced operational presence at the training ground after an altercation with former head coach Massimiliano Allegri during the previous campaign.

Ibrahimovic watched session drills under head coach Amorim ahead of European competition. Although the former striker stepped away from daily on-site visits following last season’s dispute, his strategic advisory partnership with RedBird owner Gerry Cardinale remained active throughout his physical absence from the training facility.

clubThe visit coincides with AC Milan preparing for their opening fixture of the 2026-27 UEFA Europa League stage, following a fifth-place finish in Serie A last term. Ibrahimovic is scheduled to be in attendance at San Siro on Wednesday when Milan host Benfica.
